Rock Hard Performance outdoor training facility “Smiley Field” is located at the Corner of 43rd St. and Williams Blvd., (behind 4240 Williams Blvd. Strip Mall ) Kenner, LA 70065.

2012 is here and Rock Hard training is expanding with the addition of group fitness classes. Group fitness classes are designed to handle groups of 10 or more depending on the size of the location where we are training. The classes will be held once a week for one hour in locations around town. The first group fitness class was held at Speakeasy Bar & Grill on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. The Speakeasy Bar & Grill Fitness Class is held every Wednesday at 7:30pm, 4345 Williams Suite F (on the corner of Williams Blvd. and Joe Yenni) Kenner. On Tuesday, January 31st at 6:15pm Rock Hard is starting the first group fitness class at Fashion Country Club, 223 Joe Louis Ln, in Hahnville. For anyone interested in any of the classes that we offer you can email or call for more information. Classes are open to the first 20 men or women to sign up for each class.

The Rock Hard Jean Fit Challenge is a four days a week program that incorporates agility drills and weight training all done outdoors. The challenge is to get into your favorite pair of jeans that will be used as your measuring stick to check your progress. Anyone interested in a challenge we have spots available for the 6:50am. Also the Empowering Women Flag Football League is looking for women 18yrs old and older who are looking to stay fit, become fit and play some football in the EWFFL. On Thursday June 16th, I had the honor of being keynote speaker of the Southwest Louisiana High School Sports “Hall of Fame” Fourteenth Annual Banquet & Induction Ceremony at Reeves Uptown Catering in Lake Charles, Louisiana. I would like to Congratulate and Recognize the Class of 2011.

*I can now say I have trained a “Hall of Famer”. Carlee participated in Rock Hard’s Speed & Agility Camp at East Beauregard High School in January 2010. I am not taking any credit for her achievements, because working with Carlee keeps me looking forward to working with more student/athletes that will bring the intensity and leadership she brought to our camp. On Friday April 29th and Saturday April 30th was the 3rd Annual Deridder Mini Camp at War Memorial Civic Center, 250 West 7th St. Deridder La. We had a blast with the athletes that participated in the camp. The intensity, work effort and improvement that was put forth by those athletes has fuel my mission more to continuing helping young athletes around the world.

Hello everyone I would like to take this time to announce my induction into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame on June 25, 2011 in Natchitoches, Louisiana. I want to give special thanks first to God, my parents Paul Buford Jordan, Sr. and my mother Clara Elaine Victoria Jordan, brother Simon Jordan the best athlete I have ever competed against, sister Priscilla Jordan the other best athlete of the family (the female verison), to all my family in Iota, Coach Eugene Jeans, Coach “Buzz” Sarver, Coach Ricky Wriborg and all the coaches during my high school years, all my Iota teammates, classmates, teachers, friends and the town of Iota, McNeese State University, Coach Erine Duplechein, Coach Tommy Tate, Coach Hubert Bowles, Coach John McCann and all the coaches assoicated with McNeese during the time I was there, all of my teammates, classmates, friends, McNeese supporters and the city of Lake Charles. A “Big Thanks” to all the poeple that have been a part of my life for making me the person I am today.

Buford Jordan’s Rock Hard Performance has been conducting camps for over two decades throughtout Canada, Louisiana, Texas and many other states. We take great pride and joy in helping young athletes better there work ethic, skill set, and attitude. Our camps benefit athletes in all sports (Girls and Boys). For athletes in the New Orleans area there is training available Mondays & Wednesdays and Tuesdays & Thursdays for athletes of all ages. Performance Camp

This camp is available for High School Juniors and Seniors (Boys and Girls) of all sports for the 2011/12 school year. Camps are limited to (10 athletes). This is a chance for athletes to work with one of the best athletes in the world and showcase their athletic talent to colleges and universities all over the country. This camp offers:

-Drill Testing

-Training athletes for 4 weeks x2

-Videoing of athletes

-Gathering history of athletes

-Interviewing athletes

-Retest athletes in 4 weeks

All of the above data collected on the athletes will be made into a highlight video and put on my website for all colleges and universities to view.

Cost: $400.00

To register and reserve a spot for the camp requires a $200.00 deposit paid on our payment page thru paypal. The remaining $200.00 will be paid when the athletes check-in. There is a 25% cancellation fee after you have reserved a spot. So please make sure before you register that you read and understand the cancellation charge. Final payment collected at check-in is (cash or cashier check).

“Thanks” to all the athletes, parents and coaches throughout the state of Louisiana and Texas for allowing me the opportunity to share some of the knowledge I gained throughout my athletic career. Wishing “Good Luck” and a “great season” to all the athletes that I have trained. Starting with East Beauregard High School “Trojans and Lady Trojans ” (Dry Creek, LA). When I arrived at East Beauregard High School they had two athletes that could run under a five flat 40 yard dash, with the coaches adding some of our drills to their normal workout routine, they have more than ten athletes running under five flat 40’s now, Slidell Youth Recreation (Slidell,LA), Deridder Camp (Deridder,LA), Orange Neighborhood Camp (Orange,TX), Plaquemines Parish Recreation Department “Kickoff the Football Season Camps”, Cypress Park (Belle Chasse,LA)and South Plaquemines High(Boothville,LA).
